The Flaming Flaming Seal: Shadow received $578 million on the line for six months, less than 1 per cent of the previous period.

On September 25, 2025, Nintendo launched the Flaming Seal: Shadow on the iOS and Android platforms, the first brand-new hand-show launched in Nintendo over the past six years, although only US$ 578 million was earned in the first six months.

Flaming Flaming Seal: Shadow Six Months Before Take it.

Compared to the success of the card game ” Flaming Stamps: Heroes ” , launched in 2017, the weak performance of The Shadow proves that the driving effect of the IP competition is limited. The type of game and the mode of realization are also intrinsic factors in determining success or failure. According to AppMagic, less than 1 per cent of the $150 million received by The Shadow during the first six months on the line during the same period. The Shadow uses a completely different game from Heroes, which is explicitly marketed as a major series of derivatives, with real-time play and social reasoning at its core. And the core of Heroes is the introduction of the ” Flaming Seal ” series for mobile players.

“Flaming Flaming Seal: Heroes”

The mode of realization of Shadow also differs significantly, with the monthly launch of season passes at its core. This pattern leads to a small increase in player spending only once a month in the introduction of classic roles, usually the main players in the series. During the season pass period, these players are only open to paid players before entering the free player incentive pool. The first season pass, “Winds of the Platforms”, was launched on the first day of the game and featured Lindys of the BBA-era Sword of Fire. Through Heroes ‘ annual voting, Linden was one of the most popular players in the series, and the developer Intelligent Systems apparently used the data in The Shadow. During the season passes, player-day consumption peaked at $20,000 on 26 September. Following a decline in monthly consumption on the first day of the game, on 28 October income surged by 66 per cent to $80 million. This point coincides with the “Fate Dragon” go-live, with the introduction of the 3DS-era Flaming Seal: If (Corrin). A similar small increase was brought about by the subsequent season passes, including the latest “Hidden Mask”, which was launched shortly after the first six months of the game (27 March).

It is worth noting that the season brought with it the ” Flaming Signs Engage ” character, Unaka, breaking past trends in the introduction of key players. This is yet another proof that Intelligent Systems refers to Heroes’ data, as the 2025 vote showed that Unaka was more popular than the main actor of “Engage ” , Drew. On the same day Unaka went online, there was a 143 per cent increase in player-day consumption, and even so, the same day income was only $3,000. The monthly expenditures of the Shadow player have been declining month by month since their publication. In contrast, the Flaming Seal first came in using the usual very profitable card model, where players acquire the in-play currency through games or purchase, to extract the newest role in the pool. Players get new roles by dice, but the probability is low. In addition, the monthly subscription model has been adopted for Flaming Finger Stamps: Heroes, but it is not a core game, and a spraining card is the key. Heroes ‘ pass came online in February 2020 three years after the launch of the game.

The model usually runs for two weeks, introducing a new role card pool, replaying the classic role of the 1990s with modern images and phonograms, or introducing the main character of the latest main series. At other times, the fans’ favorite characters come in seasonal costumes. An additional card pool containing new units is introduced every weekend, and this role usually provides advantages in competitive models such as the arena. In general, the model has over 1,300 units for Heroes in nine years, providing fans with a rich range of 35-year-old choices. The game has accumulated nearly 5 billion cards over its life cycle, and 209 players have officially collected all their roles. Despite its age, Heroes currently earns more than the new Shadow. Over the past six months, Heroes has earned an additional $20.6 million, compared with the Shadow income of 3 per cent. The six months before Shadow came on the line, even less than the early performance of Dr. Mario: The World and the Lost Dragon Pact, which are now suspended. Despite its poor performance, Nintendo, DeNA and Inteligent Systems seem to be planning to exploit the potential of Shadow in the Hero’s ecology. A video of the CG, released earlier, shows the role of Shadow and Heroes at dinner, cross-extension of the two games and commitment to a set of Shadow-style characters later this year in the cards.
